On Sep. 28, 1972, Paul Henderson scored what is perhaps the most famous goal in international hockey history, when he slipped the puck past on Soviet goalie Vladislav Tretiak to give the Canadian team a 6-5 win in game eight of the Summit Series. Henderson's goal gave the Canadians a 4-3- 1 series victory.

Paul was part of two fairly well-known lines: the "HUM Line" with Norm Ullman & Bruce MacGregor for the Red Wings during the 60's, and the "Wing Line" with Norm Ullman & ex-Hornet Floyd Smith for the Maple Leafs from 1968 through 1970.

Over thirty years later, Paul Henderson is still approached on the streets and held up as Canada's savior that day. They tell him his goal was a golden moment in their lives, a time when they felt supremely proud of being a Canadian.

Today, Paul Henderson uses the lessons of leadership, teamwork and commitment he learned during the 1972 Summit Series and his 18-year professional hockey career, to motivate organizations around the world to reach their own goals. Paul begins his presentation with a brief video reliving the rush, glory and heart-pounding excitement of the '72 series. Through his sharing of behind the scenes NHL strategies, innovative insight, and humorous anecdotes, Paul correlates his own experiences to today's competitive business environment.
